The blower on my a/c only works on high. Do you think it is the blower itself or the resistor?

FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT IS INDICATIVE OF THE STRATUS ONCE AGAIN, MY BLOWER ONLY WORKS ON HIGH AS WELL AND THE PART IS THE SWITCH OR RESISTOR AS YOU CALL IT IT RUNS ABOUT $90 DOLLARS IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN. YOU REALLY HAVE TO LOVE THIS CAR TO PUT UP WITH ALL ITS FAULTS, WHICH ARE MANY BELIEVE ME!!

It's a resistor, located in the a/c plenom, above the right side kick panel on the passenger side, replacement takes about 5-10 minutes, price on the resistor is about 18 bucks. Ask the dealer for the blower motor resistor. The switch is very expensive, and a PITA to remove. My dealer originally diagnosed a bad switch, I came to this board first, glad I did.
My Stratus burns one out about every 3 months, probably due to my girls habit of running with the fan set on low all the time. This is also an indicator that the fan is pulling to much current and also due to go. I prefer to blame my girl :-)
The low speed generates the most heat at the resistor, but at a time when the airflow(for cooling) is at it's lowest. What engineer came up with that idea?
My Dakota just burned the resistor out also, but it's mounted under the hood cowl, and it lasted 12 years.
108 thousand miles on the Stratus and still going.....
3 sets of tires, 3 batteries, one set of sway bar links, two recalls, one new headliner(warranted) one timing belt and tensioner(read another of my posts for that story) 16 sets of wiper blades, and oil changes every 3-4 thousand miles. Check engine light has come on once, my fault, forgeot to hook up a vacuum line after the belt
