Does it have a position 3, or just 1 and 2? Seems like a memory problem, either a fuse or power/battery.
Does it remember at all or lose memory when parked?

It could be that the clicker is not correct for that jeep, make sure the numbers match on the back of the remotes. did you try checking your on board codes?

So if you push the fob, the seat moves to the correct position?
What do you mean by, "we program them and the lights flash and everything but still the same spots. " ??

We have two remotes one is set up for driver 1 and the other for driver 2 when pressed the seat move to a position different for each fobe. We set the seats and mirrors to where we want them and press and hold the set button on the door until the light starts flashing then press the #1 or #2 button on the door to set the memory. After we press the unlock button on are remote and the seats do not go where we had them saved they go back to the same spot they have since we bought the Jeep .

So they move to the set position, then back to the original position. Hmmm... it may be a procedure thing; are you following the owner's manual instructions? (don't mean to be insulting, just thinking). I've never had memory seats so don't know. It seems from your description that they are remembering the location (since they move when you hit the fob) but they are also remembering the previous position. I'd think it's something about saving the new location.

Look for the white light, it's the blinker, when you pull it out they will all go out, but just replace it with a reg colored light.
LOL JK

i have the same problem as well, the memory seat wont go to what its supposed to when unlocked with the remote. the right mirror always points down to the ground and the seat doesnt move at all. i think it's a dealer type of problem, i havent bothered messing with it cuz i know i'll tear apart the car till i solve the problem.
also the light he's reffering to is the light on the memory seat button which you hold to set the seat and mirror position. when it blinks it means its set.
also i have a '98 v8 if that helps any..

My 98 5.9 dose not do well with the drivers mirror and the pass side mirror slowly moves out of adjustment, I thought it was when the door closed it caused it, and and some cases it was, my striker is slightly out of alignment, (the bearings in the hinges) and I think it causes it to move, this would explane my 98 5.9 but not the 2002 as it does it also, and my 93 doesnt do it at all (no memory option)
However the radio stations stay as well as the seats, so i'm not sure what to say, the book says its the motor in the mirror, but the motor works fine, so if anybody has an answer it would be cool to know the problem.
