My 2002 alero won't do anything when I try to start it, the battery is fine, and everything else that is supposed to come on when you turn the key works, but nothing happens when I try to start it? Could it be the relay, or is it the starter? I appreciate any help.

Check all the key ignition fuses located in the engine compartment fuse block first. If you're handy with a multimeter you can measure the DC voltage from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid and starter.
If the 12 vdc is at the starter solenoid, the starter could be the problem. If not there you'll have to back track to the ignition switch area which includes relays. Good luck!

Great news, it running.

It was the same problem I read about someone else having involving the passlock. I followed the instructions they had for reseting it, and that took care of it. Started right up. All you have to do is:
Turn the key to the on position for 10 minutes,
turn it off for ten seconds,
turn it on for ten minutes,
and then on for then seconds;

The posting I read listed another round of that, but mine didn't need it. That reset the computer, and it started right up.

Hopefully this will help someone else out.

Good show and thanks for the feedback. Last time I had a Passlock problem the security light on the dash either turned on or flashed but its good you figured it out without having to waste money.

That happened to me last week and I read that thread about the 10 minute thing and I worked for me as well. All was ok until this morning it did it again. The 10 mins untill the security light stopped flashing worked again, but I did notice that both times it was raining quite hard. Was it raining when it happened to you?
