im rebuilding my 69 camaro. im interested in taking out my original dash and putting in a aluminum type nascar dash. want to mount the gauges in the center facing the driver. been looking around the internet with no luck. i could most likely bend/cut custom make it myself, just interested if any readers have some feedback about this intention. the dash wouldn't be so flat per se, maybe slightly rolled. thanks, karl in tokyo.

i think doing it yourself is probly your best bet. If its done tastefully i think it would work realy well. Are you doing a nascar feel for the whole car or just taking the idea for the dash? Ive seen a 69 camaro done up with the black steelies running 14x10 rims and nascar tires with flared fenders that was SEXY

jegs has them.

go to www.jegs.com, and it should be somewhere in the aluminum interior section

thanks both for good feedback. nascar stripped down on the inside and most likely silver with black hood and trunk stripes on the outside. currently running the black 10 spokes, they look real mean. i went to jeg's website and sure enough, there it was. thanks a lot. karl.
