93 Grand Am Engine jerking after shifting

I have a 93' Grand Am SE, 2.3L Quad OHC, manual transmission; my car has been jerking a lot if I step on the accelerator. I recently changed the fuel pump, spark plug, and air filter, but the problem persists. I was wondering if anybody have similar problem and know how to fix this problem. Thanks

Thoughts, plugged injectors or possible Idle Air Control Valve. MAF sensor or possible coil pack. Hard to trace from what little you describe.

I'd first put in some concentrated injector cleaner into the tank, it won't hurt anything, see if it helps.

I wonder if it's something more tranny related though. Like if his tranny is slipping, or it could be TCC related. - that's if the other items aren't the culprit.

He says he has a manual, that lets out the TCC:p

A real long shot, clutch slippage.

I seriously doubt clutch slippage, that would cause a smooth flowing problem, not a jerking motion. Possibly it could be a bad fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, dirty injectors, or the control module causing one of the coils not to fire right.
