Spoiler lights on 95 legacy

I have an optional spoiler with a bar light on it and it doesn't light up. There is a break light in the back window that does work, so I wasn't sure if the spoiler light was supposed to work as well since there already is a light there... Any thoughts on this? or how to fix the lights if they need to be? Thanks!
