abs messed up

I changed wheel studs on 96 Ford Ranger with 4 wheel abs. Now the abs comes on sometimes for no reason at all. Any ideas?

Pull the wheel and check the sensor and tone ring on the wheel you replaced the studs on. Look for bent tone ring, debris between the sensor and tone ring.

Will grease build up on the ring cause that? Is there special cleaner for the sensor or is brake clean good enough?

Brake cleaner and a small brush will work fine.
