I need to replace blown speakers in my 1994 Regal Custom 4-door, and I can't figure out how to get the top of the dash apart in order to remove them.

not sure but the grilles over the speakers should just pop off take a small flathead screwdriver and pry at the edge of the grille DO NOT pry too hard just in case im wrong!

You know, I did that. I found that when you remove the grills from the dash, all you can get to is the cone of the speaker. You cannot get to the screws to take out and remove the speaker unless you remove that top part of the dash.

Okay, I figured out how to get the top section of the dashboard out.

Along the edge of it, underneath the lip, there are 5 bolts that you need to remove.
Also on top, beneath each speaker grill, there is a bolt that you must remove.

Once I took all those out, I was able to replace my speakers!
