How To Tell Car Type

Hi,as you can tell by my name i have a 84'civic,its a hatckback and i have no idea wat kind of hatch it is....:/.....the kid i got it from pulled the little emblem thingy off and than forgot wat kind it was..(crackheads now a'days...)...but anyways i dont have insurance because i am only 14 and i have no need for insurance plus the car doesnt run so i cant find out on my insurance card.and i was wondering if there are any ways to look around the car and see wat model it is.....thx for the help(if i get any)....

Probably a DX since the 1500-S is pretty rare and the HB SI didn't start until '86.
