45-50psi for priming, 35-45psi for running.
rough estimate, thats what it normally is for the gm cars ive worked on, i would imagine its the same for your sixer but im not 100% sure.

Yeah, it was running about 8psi the other day. Now I'm glad I took it to the mechanic.

yeah thats carburator territory, although chances are you have a clogged fuel filter that you could have swapped easily.

I'm hoping that wasn't it, because I went under the car one day and tried to change out the fuel filter, but couldn't (I have a very limited set of tools right now). Anyway, I had someone turn the key to make sure that it would put out fuel from the filter, and it poured out. When I asked a mechanic he said it should have shot a good distance across the room, not poured out in little spurts.

takes two wrenches to get it off lol, you must have a really limited tool supply. but yeah, sounds like a plugged up fuel filter, or a really fried fuel pump.

Yeah, pretty much all I have is a socket set. I had to go to my neighbor to get the wrenches, and it was rusted on. I ened up cutting my palm open, and got pissed and quit.
I need to buy some ramps or jackstands, that would have helped a lot more. I had some old ghetto ones that my dad let me have that aren't even a set.

They are both really car ramps, they're just not a set, and the angle that they rise in is too high to run up on the front.
Not too redneck, just too cheap.
