AC in the taurus

My ac is blowing but blows hot. Do i need a compressor or just a recharge?

First you need to have it diagnosed as to why it is blowing hot air. Is the compressor engaging? If not, you need to find the reason why. Anything from low refrigerant to ablown fuse, bad relay, bad compressor. Please check these out and post back. If compressor is engaging, but cycles real fast, either low refrigerant or bad low pressure switch. Also can be a bad blend door actuator or a broken blend door. Lots of possibilities here.
