Targeted by local authorities, Boswell escapes to Japan and discovers drift racing — a lightning-fast, gravity-defying pursuit set on intense courses full of hairpin turns and switchbacks. When he loses his first race to a Japanese crime lord, Boswell must figure out a way to pay off his debt to the Japanese mafia. There are no actors currently attached, and series stars Paul Walker and Vin Diesel will not be returning. The movie will screech into theaters on June 16, 2006"

Guess it is in fact too much to think that they'd try and do something legit for once in this series. Just going to be a bunch more riced out cars driving in circles through the entire movie. Maybe this time they'll have some Nissans with Honda motors. And it looks doubtful that they'll be any American car, so the American car owners won't be able to share our pain like in the 2nd movie.

Personally I thought the first one wasn't too bad. The second just plain out sucked. I guess being car enthusiast we pay more attention to the little things.

dat would be mat tyte yo! Well this movie also sounds like it will suck but i'll still go see it. Its good entertainment, even if it is a bunch of ricers.

Yeah if its accually japaneese stuff, it will something horrid. Japaneese people have major pride, but no sence of style, so.... outsomes shitcicles like that. I didnt mind the first movie so much, as it was a movie. I wouldnt even classify the second one as a movie. But it will be great for us, because the price of hondas will go up again. Woot.

Same here, I hate ricers, but if it werent for f&f I wouldnt like imports. So I guess that movie did some good. It didn't take long for me to see that the cars on the movie were all rice rockets, but like I said it really did make me get into imports.

The first movie had the opposite effect on me. I wasn't into cars until far after the movie came out. The movie made me hate imports and cars in general even more. But once I started hanging out with my friend and being an extra set of hands while he did his H22a Civic swap, I realized there was another side of cars other than that ricer crap. That's actually how I came to this forum, looking for swap info; certainly not how to make my car look all "pretty".

It was a movie, didnt really have an effect on me either way, hated civics before the movie, hated civics after the movies, hated civics till I found mine on the side of the road cheep and it screamed good gas mileage, the rest is history... well kinda, its still in litigation :evillol: .

I still hate Civics and ricers.

:disappoin , Its just hilarious to me that these cheesy sequel movies consistently find enough funding to get back to the big screen. F*ing hi-lar-i-ous. Despite this,its sad that I still will watch it when it comes out on cable. But I ain't paying to see it in the movies... :grinno:

F&F has made me hate the "scene" more and more and more and more as they continue to come out, and be mentioned all over webboards.

Before the first one, I liked car shows, I liked hanging out around people with other imports, and so on and so forth. Now most all of that stuff has fazed for me because it just seems so groupy now. Its just so popular, a lot of people don't even seem to know why they're into it other than to make other people happy with them.

HATE it.

I never hang out with "groups" with cars and all that, and yet I like films with cars... any car film really. I have loads on DVD... If you like old school le mans, check out "Le Mans" with Steve McQueen. It's freakin' crazy...

Well I will say they where both dumb, but it was a movie, so i don't mind them bringing out stuff that we can understand fake or not. I would say #2 did have that fin ass spanish girl in it, and they got to really drive the skyline unlike the first movie. And #2 was funnyer.

i sold my 240 long ago... cheap too 500 bucks but it had a bad cylinder but the body was in way great shape... cheap bastards out here trying to rip u off but i dont care... sold it 2 years ago... had a nice suspension set-up... o well i got my honda now so yea...

Obviously those teenagers had ever right to do that as they were brain washed by the movie and the old woman should not have been there.
