95 z71 silverado ac not working

will lose control over the teperature and direction of air flow, and no interal fan circulation control, no ac , half of control unit night backlighting will only come one?

i know my truck is old but i need to know if anyone has seen this problem before, there where some posts in other forums but no solutions or known cause for this problem? need to get ac working... wife uses the truck alot and too hot for the baby.... please help?

you might go to a junkyard and try replacing the HVAC controls

i hear that someelse on another forum try that and no luck
may be a gnd or power problem half of the hvac control unit back lighting only works,?

i think its a wire harms problem?

I tryed to rest power by disconnecting gnd to battery to rest any thing related to hvac unit , but no luck, one thing i dont under stand is some time it will work randomally but as some as you swich to defrost it dies?


thany thoughts? i pull circuit boards all looks ok no lose conection or broken solder joints?
