Ok, Ive had my car out the shop since about Feb.I had the fuel pump, coil, and control module replaced because it was causing my car to die....so yesterday I try to start it up and it wont....It turns but wont start unless I hold down the gas a little, but as soon as I take my foot off the gas pedal it dies...No check engine light came on..I took it to the dealership and they ran tests on it all day and the computer was sayin it was a perfectly fine engine..and it started after awhile...the guy said that he thinks it was a sensor glitch and when they reset all the sensors it problaly fixed it...does anybody think that is right?? I dont want to get stranded somewhere everytime a sensor glitches.....thanks for any replies....oh yeah, its a 99....

If I had this problem, I would probably first make sure there is a new fuel filter on it. After that, I would look at the throttle position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor.

I put a new fuel filter on around Nov of last year...that was before my fuel pump went bad...I dont know if my fuel filter got clogged up after that or not....so it could be a sensor that is acting up but still passing diagnostics tests?
