1994 Rear View Mirror Replacement

I'm not one to admit often to stupid mistakes but awhile back the passenger side rear view mirror got smacked/cracked/torn off and basically I now have no rear view mirror there.

That being said, I picked up an aftermarket 1994 buick lesbre custom mirror to replace it, comes with mounting bolts, housing, mirror and wiring. As of right now the only thing still mounted on the door is the flat plastic washer that the mirrror assembly sits on.

Is there an easy way to mount the replacement on without having to take the internal door paneling off to get to it? Any pointers on any easy route for mounting the replacement on or a site that woud show how to mount a new mirror on?

Thanks.

Maybe you could hook up the wiring, etc. and then liquid nail it to the door. They make some really good quality and strong liquid nail now. I bet it will hold it if you got enough on there and let it set up. Get the stuff that can be used outside. Once you get it in place, duct tape it down while it sets up. I had a loose left mirror. It giggled in the wind, so I liquid nailed it down. It worked great. I didn't want to take that door apart. If it comes loose, you won't loose it because the wiring is still there to retain it.
