short throw shifter?

hey i have a 6spd and i have been askin around and i heard that if u get a short throw shifter that it can improve your 1/4 mile time up to .5 seconds. They are only 165 bucks for the Ripper shifter do u guys think it owuld be worht it or do you know?

definatly worth it, dunno bout that half second improovement or not, it would depend heavily on your skill with a manual on weather or not the benifit would be that drastic.

i have a hurst and i love it, it completely changes how your car feels to you. definately will improve your 1/4 mile times also.

to tell you the truth i dont think anyone is talking crap, they all just wanna know wether it is a burger cause if it is then that car is like crazy madd rare cause its not documented anywhere on the internet (not sure about that i havnt checked) oh wait give me your vin number i have the gm service manual program on my computer that you type the vin in and it tell you every single thing about that car, not like carfax like all the parts and fixing it ect. not accidnts flood and crap like that, if it goes back that far i could tell you if its a lagit berger (it dosnt go far enough back for my 88 :( )

and hustler, take a minute to chill out, drink a cold one, sit in the hammock for a while, and realize that even if people call BS on you, its the internet, and it really dosnt matter. I havent seen anyone call you out on it being BS yet, were all honestly curious because its something we havent heard of and we want to know if its for real. Because if it is, its a redickulous steal for what you paid for it, and to be honest, i wouldnt even drive it. lol. put it in the garage and buy another one. And any mods you do make sure they are bolt ons that can be returned to stock should you ever decide to take the car to the barrett jackson auction. If its got all the documentation and badges its probly one of two things, a very very in depth fake, or its a lagit berger that is pretty damn rare.

I found mine used for $15.

Lou's Short Stick....very simple install, it is just the handle. Reduces throws quote a bit with the stock Hurst shifter.

I want a piece of the pie when/if you sell it hustler.... even if it IS a very good fake, how many people at the auction will know that off the top of thier heads?

i emailed the parts counter at berger chevy and am waiting on a reply, i gave up on trying to find that card up there, and barker wasnt listed under the staff list at the website anymore, so he might not be there anyway.

just make one, get a bolt and grind her down
