battery problems associated with push button start?

hi, I have a 2000 Honda Civic SI. I had Audio Plus install a push button start 4 years ago where the car lighter was and since then I noticed that my battery dies all the time. For example, if I don't drive the car for 2 days, by the 3rd day the battery is dead. I keep replacing with new batteries so I know that isn't the problem...do you think the push button start is draining the battery? If not, what do you think is the problem.

pretty safe bet to say that..or a short somewhere..are there any lights that stay on while the car is parked for 3-4 days. Can you have the push button bypassed for a week to key start to see if that is in fact the problem?

Do you have to use the key to use the push start.
