I recently had the problem of p0410. i was told to replace the fuse and blow out the pump to fix the problem. I did so and the service engine light turned off. It was off for about a month or so and then it came back on. I checked the problem with a scan tool and it said the same problem was back. There are two problems with the secondary air injection system just like last time. So should i do the same thing as last time or is there somwthing else i need to do? Thanks

Make sure the the gas cap is tight, and check the box under the rear driver's side bumper. It probably has water in it. Let it dry out for a day or 2

Your evap cannister. It's a black box under the rear driver's side bumper mounted to the wheel well.

so all i do is open it and let it dry out. Do you think that would trigger a code 0410?

Water in the evap will definatly set that code (and is the most common problem next to a loose gas cap). Pull it off, have it blown out with an air hose, and let it dry for a day... run the air hose through the hoses that are connected to it as well. Then reset the computer before starting it back up.

now is this connected to the pump located over the skid plate, Should i blow the pump out as well. How do i clear the computer. Do i need to replace the fuse? I think thats what sets the service light to come on. How does the water get in the evap could there be an other problem some where else i should check?

Dicsonnect it from the brackets. Mark and remove ALL hoses, go to your local gas station and force air through it. Let it dry out a couple of days.

there is a line that is labeled fuel, is it ok to disconnect this line? Can i drive with this box unhooked? All i have to do is disconnect the hoses to dry out the box, there is no cap to take off?

no... You cannot drive without it... No cap... Blow it out with air then let it dry for a couple of days
