i have a set of dynomax headers on my 89 and they do not make a y-pipe for it---the car was originally an rs which did not have true dual so im stuck...its the last part i need to get my car goin but i do not want to have to spend a crazy amount on getting a custom y-pipe...any suggestions out there

Well I say go true dual exhaust, that's probably the only way just before you go doing this make sure that where you live it isnt too bumpy or anything

I agree with RS92, if you can find a way to run the dauls with some ground clearance, go with true duals. I'll show you why people suggest catbacks over true duals.

I was thinking about true duals at one point myself, but they run too low to the ground and where i live, my shits would be broken. If you live in an area where the groung is always level and smooth go for it. If not, grit your teeth and see what you can do for a custom y-pipe. Damn you guys are up late, shit get some sleep.

any exhaust shop can make a you a Y-pipe, but honnestly your best option is a true dual or run a Y-pipe with single exhaust exit

I have a similar problem. When I went to the Milodon oil pan, the y-pipe didn't match up. Can I just run true-duals and just route them down where the y-pipe went to the cat then out back? There'll be a few more bends, but it solves the ground clearance problem. Also, if I had to go back to the sniffer state of VA, that i grew up in and put on a dual in/out cat would that be the way to go, or go dual in and single out?
