Ok my girlfriend was sitting in the living room this morning before work. She thought someone started a lawn mower outside. When she went to leave my 2002 F-150 was making a noise like a lawn mower. She said it wasn't the "CLicking" you get when you have a dead battery and try to start it and it wasn't the truck cranking over and not starting...Now remember the truck was sitting ALL NIGHT and no one touched it prior to this noise being heard and discovered.
She woke me and I told her to take the 2004 and I'd look at it later. Well here's where I stand...Battery seems chared full, headlights work, dashlights work but when you turn the ignition to the "Start" position nothing happens and the battery light stays on...
Newer battery about 5 months ago and I put the charger on it for the past 8 hours and still the same...
What the heck would start making noise like that and disable the starting system without anyone touching the truck???!!!
