wings?

hey i'm lookin at wings for a 95 camaro and i'm havin trouble pickin out the best one i like the ones that rise up about 5 or 6inches but everyboyd else don't like them, which would u guys go for the SS or the super wing?

death to rice wings...but seriously ive never liked those jumbo ones on any cars. I have a slight respect for some honda and imports in general so im not just bashing them....i just dont like the wings. They would especially look out of place on a camaro or firebird... just a bad idea. You could get one of them kinda rounded wings but that is as far as i would go.

You were talking about those giant tail wings that a lot of guy put on their imports right? Ive seen a guy do that to his formula. That was a depressing day. I may have misunderstood you for talking about one of those now that i read your post again.

i'm talkin about them wings for the Camaros the one's that rise up on the sides not them import ones b/c i know that they would look really bad on them!

5 or 6 inches dosnt sound ricey to me, but i dont really like rear wings on camaros at all, not even the factory ones. but thats personal taste. i suggest posting a link to the wings you are talking about to give the guys an idea of what you are asking about.

yeah i don't much like that wing, but i like hte one in the middle and it had the third brake light, and i think that it doesn't look to much like a rice wing b/c it comes up on the sides and not the middle!

yeah that is the wing, my car is black and think that it will look really good with the 3rd brake light so that is prolly what i would get, don't u think?

Lol im just poking fun, Im the exact way you are about wings, I dont like wings the go about to the height of the hood or if they look wrong. If I got a GTO i'd take the wing off first thing when I got it.

i personally love wings that wheels and tinted windows make a world of difference on a car and yes the superbird is an awesome car i will send you guys a pic of one me and my dad bought for 20000 that needs some lil "restoration". it's lime green and got 6,000 orginal miles, it don't run YET!!

well that is usually why you get a wing so you can handle the car at over 100 mph speeds so practically all wings are functional

Ive even seen some cosmetic wings that while i didnt have time to actually test, from my basic understanding of aerodynamics, would have lifted the rear tires at high speeds. tried to warn the kid, he wouldnt listen.

yeah but you can still consider that functional but not good for you, but still the wing is meant to help you and that is what it is "functional" for! you can agrue that either way LORD YEAH

Lol. I like a little space under the wing, makes it look like more then just a bumb or mini ski ramp.

they dont make too many wings for the camaro, they have the little tack on wings and then they have the big huge one that is so ugly and then they have the import wing that is doubled up which is really ugly. they dont have any moderate height wings.
