No bright lights

Any suggetions for no brights? I assume the switch is bad that toggles between low and high beam. Where would it be?

what year is it? I believe that on all third gen's its part of the turn signal switch on the steering column. Requires pulling the steering wheel for replacement.

It's very unlikely but possible that the high beam filament in both of the bulbs burnt out. I had it happen in a different car with the same H6054 headlights.

The actual switch assembly for the brights is midway down the steering column connected to an actuating rod off the multi-function switch.

Best to find a wiring diagram as well.

It is a 95. Is there just the one switch to replace that operates the high beams and turn signals? I see it in my Haynes manual.

yes, I believe it operates both, and is commonly referred to as a multi-function switch as wrightz28 mentioned. I'd bet that its the culprit.

*edit* I will check for you tomorrow (monday) to be sure that they are the same, since I'm not that familiar with the 4th gens.

Sounds good. It probally has a multifunction switch where the turn signal stalk goes into the column. I've also got a 2000 GTP I have to go into the column because I have no brake lights (the third brake light works). From what the wiring diagram shows it goes thru a multifunction switch just like the Z does. They just don't make cars easy to work on these days. Kinda makes you wonder if they got a deal going with the tool manufacturers cause I know it seems like everytime I tackle something new, or work on a different car I gotta get new tools. Some day when I'm dead and gone, somebody is going to have one heck of a tool collection.
