I'm trying to help a friend of mine. He has a '93 MX6 with the 2.5l 6cylinder motor. He hit a curb a while back and he hasn't been able to start the car since. Sounds like there is a problem with the fuel pump, but after he replaced it, same thing kept happening. Am I right in thinking he may have tripped the inertia switch when he hit the curb? If so, where on the car is it located? Thanks in advance.

Is it getting fuel? Spark? Have you checked if the timing belt is still there?

i don't know where an inertia switch is on the 2nd gen mx6, but its quite possible that thats the cause if theres nothing else wrong
