83 Stang front end noise

This has been going on for years....usually I hear this noise when turning the steering wheel either right or left at the far end....but it's more one way, just can't remember which...and usually only like when turning in a driveway or somewhere where you are going slow. One person suggested to me: upper bushing on the A-Frame (if I remember this right)! It has 123,000 miles on it, I don't drive it in winter, so it's a collector for me.....Struts don't leak, and I was told they were good, and they are the originals....car had 40,000 on it when I bought it. Any ideas what this noise could be? And is it anything serious? Thanks ahead of time for help!

could you explain the noise better if its a loud winding sound then its your power steering pump. If its a loud clank its your engine mounts.....details on the sound would help
