I just got a 87 sentra hatchback with only 80,000 miles for free. The old man thought it had a major oil leak.He was right the fuel pump.20 bucks and 45 min. later the leak was fixed. now i all it needs is cv joints. Are these cv joints hard to fix on these nissans. I never owned a nissan. But this car seems like i can get at least another 100,000 miles out of it. Can anyone tell me any good web sights for this car?

if it only has 80,000 miles on it u can get alot more miles than that my '89 sentra has 211k miles on it and it still runs fine i resently had to replace the clutch cable and i have to get a new clutch for it but thats my main problem and that wont be hard to do so just to give u an idea of how long they last.
but i dont know about the cv joints id imagine they wouldnt be to hard to find. start at like adavanced or auto zone and if they dont have anything then strat searching on the net

hope this helps some

Shit, CV joint are DAMN easy to replace. You can do it yourself for kinda cheap, but I'd just have a brakes shop do it. Kinda hard to mess it up and it won't break your bank. I'm guessing less than $300 for both.
