I was wondering what was the torque split front/rear in this car? Can it be changed? I got this question from playing GT4 (lol dont laugh!) and in the game, u can upgrade cars with a center differential.
I believe the newer awd cars have 35/65 for performance, and in the impreza sti, u can even change it manually urself to go from 100/0 to 0/100 split.

50/50. It's not electronic, so no, you can't change it, and you wouldn't want to. You can't go full 100% on most cars that have it, any car with the same common system like the new EVO can send at most 50% to the rear, and by presets, 70% to the front. The GT-R is the only exception that I know uses a 100% RWD until it needs more traction.

another interesting thought: can u make the Awd into a Rwd car?
A guy featured in import tuner had a WRX and he was able to turn it into a rwd car. i believe they said there was two main concerns. one, u have to remove the front drive axles, and two, u have to lock the center differential. If the eclipse doesnt have a center differential, would it be easier to convert?
it was an april volume in 2004 by the way...funny i still have this issue

No, it is not easier and yes, it's possible with the current parts that are available. Look to spend a lot of money. There is no reason to do this.
