Hi everyone! I have a 2000 GTP and am new to the forum. I have a quick question:
Where is the coolant temperature sensor located at? The more specific the better, as I am not super engine savy
Also, is there a website or picture out there that has a 2000 Grand Prix GTP engine schematic that I can reference?
Thanks in advance!

The ECT, engine coolant temperature sensor is located about 3 inches below the thermostat and housing. Its got a standard GM electrical connector. Just follow the upper radiator hose towards the engine and thermostat. From there look down approx. 3 inches and you'll see it.

Thanks! Found and replaced it. Now I have to replace my Mass Air Flow Sensor and hopefully that will take care of the SES!
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
