My 2002 Yukon doesn't have the factory running boards. Is there any drilling in the frame required to install the factory boards??

My 2002 Yukon doesn't have the factory running boards. Is there any drilling in the frame required to install the factory boards??
I installed some aftermarket step bars and there was not drilling required. I believe the factory running boards connect the same way.
