'98 Explorer Bucks on Turns

Every so often, when I make a turn, the front wheel on the side to which I am turning seems to stick and buck, almost as if I am in 4WD and trying to make a tight turn, but much worse.

It seems to go away if I apply and take off the parking brake, but I'm not sure if that is actually doing it or is just that it happens to stop at the same time I decide to try.

Odometer is at 140,000.

Stupid question...but are all your wheels the same size? And do you actually know it's not in 4 wheel?

Maker sure you tires are also not to fat and you have clearance when you are turning, Check to see if you have unusual wear on the inside and if you have a shinny polished spot on your tortion bar.

Turns out it became undriveable. Needed a mere $2,000 in front-end work. Can't complain. I never did anything to the f/e and it has 140k on it. Thanks to all.
