Door Wiring problem

Hey,

Searched this and got nothing, sorry if i over looked something. GM is out of my area, this is a common question but i just want ot make sure that I know what i'm getting myself into.

have a 1998 Sonoma, power everything blah blah.. The wiring is off in the door someplace. When you shut the truck off it normally shuts off, in this particualar truck it no longer does that. There was some work done on the power window for the drivers side. Just curious if anyone can tell me how easy this is going to be to fix. It acts as the "hinge touch point" isn't reading, i'm guessing it is just a crossed wire, but not sure. If anyone has a pic or a diagram that would be great. Any advise would help me. Thanks

check the harness inside, probably has a ripped wire.

not sure i understand your question or even the symptoms ... however ...

is your door sagging? Is the "door is ajar sound" sounding? Is the dome light on or flickering when it shouldn't be? check the door hinge pins for deterioration.

yea it is on when it shouldn't be,

When you cut off the engine, the radio use to keep playing and than cut off when one of the doors opens, this still works with the passengers side door but not the drivers door. Everything in the interior stays on... i have no clue what is going on...??
