Hey im the guy with the 97 cavalier that was talking about lowing my car a while ago., I bought 16 inch rims and I was thinking about lowing my car. I dont want to go the cheap way but I found some struts for my car for $300 on ebay. What do i all need besides struts to lower my car and how much will it all cost? Thanks

You need to not buy stuff on ebay.

^^^ I have seen sets of KYB AGX's go for somthing like 370 ish on e-bay. There is nothing wrong with that.

A good proper functioning setup will run you anywhere from $700+

its ok to buy stuff from ebay... as long as u know that its a good brand, and that its a working product... and if your going to buy NEW stuff... buy it from a powerseller... they are generally legit... or else they wouldnt be power sellers

Yeah, nothing wrong with eBay. I got my Sprint springs and Springtech struts for $325 with shipping and I havent had any problems in the year they have been on. To lower a car you would just need new springs and shocks/struts. How much drop do you want? Mine dropped a hair over 2" and I have heard that the optimal preformance drop is 1.5". Eibach springs and KYB shocks seem to be what everyone gets so obviously they are good. But if you want to lower it, spend the money and do it right.

Also the lower you go, the harsher the ride.
