96 tercel reciever wiring

hello i am trying to install a jvc cd deck in my 96 tercel but the guy i bought it from cut off the wiring harness and put on a panasonic connector. so i cut off the panasonic connector and managed to get all the wire connected except for one. it says that it goes to the car illumination but i dont know which one that is, ive tried all the leftover wires but none seems to turn on the deck... i know the deck is powered because it loads and ejcets cds but nothing after that. any help would be appriciated.

If your wiring is the same as my 95, the dark green wire is your positive illumination and the white/green wire is the negative illumination.
