ABS problem

I had to replace the hub and 2 calipers on my 96 S-10 and now that I got that done my brake light has come on. It was locking up and jerking to the left real bad when it first happened. I took out the ABS system fuse and the brakes seem to work fine now just without the ABS system. Has anyone else had this happen or do you have suggestion on what could have caused this.
