What kind of sunglasses do you guys sport? I have 2 pairs of Oakley's, but it's time to get a new pair of shades and I'm not sure what to get. Trying to get some ideas so I thought I would get your opinions on what yall wear and like.

Mainly use Ray Ban Side Street Top Rectangulars at the present time.

I've got a couple older pairs of Brooks Brothers shades back home, as well as some other older pairs, some authentic 80s gold aviators with glass lenses and gradient tint, and a pair of limited edition 1996 Olympics Ray Bans

Woah! It's funny you should mention that... I just bought a second pair of $172.02 Oakleys yesterday afternoon! I used to have these copper ones, with the copper looking reflective lenses, dark copper I loved 'em. But I can't really find those anymore so I got these instead... http://oakley.com/o/o1282d With the lighter blue lenses and the sliver frame. Next I'm hitting the Dark Iridium ones. I LOVE the dark blue ones. You know I really liked the $20 pairs from Pacific Sun and all, but they broke constantly and I spent more collectively on just buying the $20 aluminum pairs over and over that I should have bought a pair of oakleys a LONG time before. There really just isn't substitute for quality.
People say they can't justify spending $200 on glasses, but they last. And they're hella stylish. And a pair of Oakleys are a pair of Oakleys. Plus when you spend a crapload of money on your sunglasses, you're going to treat them like they're your baby and a brick of gold all rolled into one.

I have a cheap pair of truck stop glasses somebody got me when i was like 15 on a road trip. It's time for a new pair. Any suggestion on sporty glasses but aren't too expensive. I LOVE oakleys but the Rx lenses are well over 200 range here. Need something more affordable. I cant justify spending almost 400 on rx lenses and frames. I may just foakleys or raybans w/o rx after my b-day passes or around x-mas when they go down since people arent buying them. I had a pair of Anarchy from Pacific Sunwear or Sunglass hut they were great out grew them though.

Exactly - they fit better, look better, protect your eyes better (!!), usually have better features (eg polarization), and will last and last. $10 sunglasses just break and break - in the end you spend nearly as much, and you've not had anything near as good.
I'm not much into the Oakley style, though. I'm more of a Ray Ban type. I think I'll get a pair of Silhouettes next time though - rimless, hingeless, screwless, and only 6 grams, lenses included. I've got Silhouette specs, but would love to have an equivalent pair of suns.

My next pair will Definately definately be the Square Wire 2.0 Spring Hinge Dark Iridium Oakleys. Then it's on to the Italian 'Bolle' frames. I don't like Bolle's style too much, but two sets really caught my eye

Prescription no name brand that I got from Lenscrafters. If I could, I would get some aviator prescriptions with gold frames and green glass.

I'm really gonna have to some shopping. I love everything about the way my oakleys fit. My first pair were great, still wear em. Had to get a replacement pair when I broke them. My second pair i liked even more but then the coating is starting to film off, if that makes any sense. I just need to do a lot of looking around and try different pairs on.

Ray-Bans. Kinda sucks cause I can only buy brand names since they are the only kinds that offer perscription lenses.

i've had bad luck with sunglasses.
first i had a pair of Oakley Minutes, in dark blue with polarized lenses. i loved these glasses, then one day they were stolen at school. i was devastated.
then i had a pair of Smith's, with interchangable lenses (i had 3 pairs, black orange and yellow). these i gave to my dad once i got my Oakley's, then he lost them.
at the same time, i had a pair of all black no-name aviators that i bought at the Van's Warped Tour. i wore them to the Warped Tour the following year, and when i took them off and put them in my backpack, they got crushed in one of the mosh pits.
now i've got a sweet pair of Spy Meteor's, blue frames with a black-to-ice faded lens. but when i pulled them out for the summer a couple of weeks ago, there's a small piece of frame that's just...gone! right on top of the left lens, a little chunk has just mysteriousley broken off. i'm pretty pissed but they're still wearable. i'm going to e-mail Spy and see if there's any way they can repair them maybe.
i've also got another set of aviators, silver frames with black polarized lenses. i love them.
i've always liked Oakley wires though, i think i might splurge on a set soon...when i come across some money that is.

However, I am planning to get a pair of Oakleys later...

The reason I buy expensive sunglasses is that it motivates me not to lose and/or break them. It's actually much more convenient that way. My square wires are over a year old and I wear them almost every day, but looking at them you would never know that they weren't new. The lenses are completely mint. Another perk is that if I ever smash them, I can send them in to oakley and get a new pair free. I can also send them in and have the frames/lenses replaced relatively cheaply if need be.
