fuel delivery issue?

VERY seldom, but SOMETIMES liek once every 4-5 months, i will try to start my car and it will start for like 3 seconds then shut off, i try to restart it and sometimes it wont. i wait 10-15 minutes, shes all fine. i noticed that my fuel filter has never been changed :eek: the body has 205,000 miles on it. the engine of course only has about 84k. this may be why right? the damn fuel filter has 205,000 miles on it! is there an aftermarket one i can get? i was thinkign abotu aem, but u have to buy a whole fuel kit or some shit. do u think this is what my problem is?

Get a Purolator Fuel Filter. They're like 15 bucks and work fine. It's so easy to change out... Do a search on this forum and you'll find the instructions from the manual.

also, sounds like a main relay problem. look under the dash, right near the hood pop handle. theres a box there that will make a click noise as you turn the key on. those go out on all of our cars.
