I just had my 94 Prism in the shop and the air filter box and a few other parts had to be removed to fix my transmisson. I looked under the hood the other day and I didn't see the sensor sticking out of the air box. What will this do to the performance of the engine and where on the engine is it connected so I can put it back in??? Thanks

i bypassed my sensor with a resistor and the car ran better that way.

Just wondering.. How did you bypass it???? Because I'm looking into getting rid of the air box....

i took the sensor apart taking of the side that went in the air box then went to radioshack and got a set of 3.3k-Ohm Resistors for like a dollar. Then just put the resistor in the sensor by bending it into a U and putting both sides in the sensor. I think what this does is just tells the ecu that the temp of the air is the default temp so you end up getting a better mixture of air and fuel.
