I am entering the Weatherly hill climb this weekend. I really want to win this event ... that would give me back-to-back first places in the same car in a drag race and a road race. That's been my goal since I started building this car.
... we'll see. ;)

Thanks guys, here's a bunch of photos:
JD's photos (if it asks for a password, it is "password"). I am extremely pleased with how much the front wheels are getting yanked up in these photos:

That's awesome dude! That first win is very special! But I'll tell ya, the 2nd one is just as sweet! I'm glad you finally got ya a 1st place at the strip! Maybe by me and you both winning this weekend will be some sort of good luck charm or something for us!
And on a side not, it must have been miserable racing in the heat of the day! I know I was drenched on Saturday night when it was all said and done, and I ran the final race of the evening at about 12:00 AM!! I bet your ETs were slightly off. I know this week my last race was 7 hundredths slower then last weeks last race. That's pretty significant in 330 ft! Damn that humidity!

Thanks guys :)
thespeedlounge.com posted one of my runs.
It is the 1st round of eliminations, I missed/crunched 2nd gear and the 10 sec civic broke. That run got me into the semi-finals.
