I found an 86 Tiffany its a mecury chassis on ebay. Auction ended without meeting the reserve I emailed the guy a few times hes says they are worth 28k+ his buy it now was only 21k, hes gaurentees the car says he has to move it fast because hes losing the storage space thats why its so low. The pics are awesome it apears to be in great shape I cant find anything anywhere about these cars and would love to get it. Im hoping if I can find the info I need before he relists it so I can work a deal so please help, a forum, some place to get info on this car anything would help, I really cant afford the 21k right now, so I am praying I can work a deal but dont like going in blind, ive never seen one before hes says there was only 900 made?? its just an awesome car Ive got pics Id post to show you why Im in a rush but cant figure out how to post them but theres no info out there if someone could please help thanks

I'm skeptical; I'd think that if he stands to leave $7K on the table he'd FIND short-term storage space.
I saw the car on eBay. An "Acquired taste" for sure but if you want one, enjoy!

So far its all "he said". He said its worth 28K take 21K. I was involved in a "scam" on e-Bay that ended up in an arrest. Don't believe what you read, see or smell. Verify, verify, verify!

Agreed, but I dare his problem will be verifying the market value of such a limited-production vehicle. I've not seen it in any guide I've looked at -- I wonder if Kit Car Magazine keeps track of used car values (although a Tiffany might not be, strictly speaking, a kit car)?
What can be verified is the condition. After that, you'd just have to vote with your heart, and decide if you'd rather have $21K worth of Corvette, or whatever.
Hey! Here's an idea; e-mail Autowwek magazine, they have that guy (Keith Martin) who writes on values in the car auction market and "professes" to be an "expert" (my quotes, not his) on just about every kind of car...
