signal fuse blowing

Signal fuse blows intermittantly. Key on, in park, fuse blows. In reverse, key on, no blow. In reverse, key on, put into park, fuse blows(some times). These scenarios do not include turning on the signal. Again, this is intermittant. Currently fuse will not blow, cannot determine when it will happen again. Looking for any insight as to the cause of such a problem.

Check your wiring in the light socket. It may be stripped and grounded out or you may have corrosion on the bulb socket.
