this town makes me wanna puke

i really havn't really rolled on the streets of this town in awhile at night... last summer it wasn't bad, there was trash but there was also alot of decent shit out..... but keep in mind this was before kids had time to go to the gm dealships and lease out brand new caviliers and sunfires...... i went out last night and i wanted to just throw up, everysingle "modified" car was the same cliche, those stupid ass wiper lights, 12' hanging fart pipes, massive ractive and apc decals, simulated rotors with simulated chrome..... and all of these kids are just so rev happy, i mean i couldn't go anywhere with out sreaming neons and j-bodies blowing past me not to mention a carolla with a 1 1/2 foot aluminum wing and a ford focus that says "Line EM up" in the back window that races absolutely everybody and gets waxed time after time.(which by the way got beat by a 86 fullsized blazer)....... matter of a fact the compact streetracing shit you'd think typically hondas, i was the only one outta countless cars..... i feel so alone...

so pretty much the point of this is, if you have a nice classy scene appreciate it.... i'm gonna shoot some video somenight or somepictures, the trash is so outta control.

I totally know how you feel. The rice boy WANNABE'S in this town think that if they put an APC decal on their neon, civic, or even rusted out S-10, they are considered in the "import scene".

I could go down to this particular parking lot down by the lake and hang out with the sweet mustang & sunfire conveniently parked out by the road so people will admire their sweet looking cars :rolleyes:

I can't wait till I get a better job this summer so I can show them what a nice car looks like :D :finger:

Good taste cannot be taught. I've learned just to laugh at those cars to myself on the inside. Not like they pose any threat to me or my car anyways.

i just recently started attending auto mechanics school here in NY, and one of the project cars is a tore up 3000gt Type R, i almost cried.

well i live in san diego and always go up to the races down here. they say san diego has the biggest street racing at night goin on. and i always go up there just to check out some of the cars going on, cuz i am stil working on mine, and i am sure they are more exciting then what you guys see. from lightnings to s200's and supra's to even a few nsx's here and there. it is pretty lively down here when it comes to street racing. the cops have started to crack down big time on racing so it is starting to die down.:mad:
