K guys. I have a 89 cx hatch ( 5spd i thought they were 4spd but neways) I bought a D15b7 engine already turbo for cheap. Now I need some sites and help on how to convert From Obd0 - Obd1. I understand that theres conversion harnesses for the ecu. But what else? I heard I need to rewire the Dizzy as well as the O2 sensor and I really don't know how to do that. Does anyone know step by step how to do this or have any sites that have many pics on the set up? lol

Lemme know guys. Thanks

Shak

you need a obd1 dist and a 4 wire o2 sensor and injectors since you have the dpfi only 2 injectors

I honestly dont even think its worth it, even with turbo... Way too much work when u can probably just MPFI the B2 and then throw the turbo on that for cheaper and easier... They are both D series so it should fit... Then sell the B7 and get a CRX/Civic Si tranny with the money u sell that for...

But yea, other than converting to OBD1, you would have to relocate a few sensors, wire up the dizzy, and run wires for the 4 wire O2... I personally would wire up MPFI, and then get this:
http://www.rywire.com/sitodvtec.shtml

It comes with all the connectors (plus VTEC which u wont have)...

I did an OBD-1 conversion on mine. I bought the harness and still had to do some wireing of course. I like the OBD-1 setup a little more anyway but OBD-0 parts are cheaper.

So that site you gave me with those 3 conversion parts, Is that all I need to buy minus the fact that I have to do dpfi-mpfi? Or is that part of what I need to buy?

Well, u can buy the DX to VTEC version of that harness, but its alot more expensive ($300), because they do all the wiring for you... Plus u have to send your harness to them to modify...

If you purchase the kit in the link I posted before, you should just have to wire up MPFI and then install that kit... But Ive personally never done an MPFI swap, so Im not 100% sure...

In your particular swap, It may even be more cost saving, to just buy the conversion harness itself (the peice that just plugs in the ECU), and then wire up MPFI... I think the harness itself is just $100... But then you have to worry about wiring up the distributor... Which I think is just matching wires (the conversion harness comes with instructions)... I just paid the extra $90 for simplicity...
