yea you have to import the the car over with the engine and transmission not in the car. Then when you get the car, you get the engine and tranny and install it. Its considered some type of vehicle, not a kit car, but something else i forget, so its perfectly legit and a real noble. Supposedly there's two running around here. Every article i read about it though says there super rare and that most states side people will never see one on the road.....yet there's two here. Kinda weird. I think the car costs over 100,000 when everything is all said and done.

so you can import a s 15 with no engine or tranny and it will be street legal since that is what they did with that car

yes you can
it by passes alot of the epa and goernment regulations, becuase you don't have to make modifications if you get the engine by itself, smae for the chassis
i was looking into this once upon a time, but the thing is that you still have to pay the ass load of money to ship the chassis, and registering gets b1tchy, you have to pay for some special lisence or something

The engine doesn't seem like much, but I bet the car weighs less then a stripped down S13.

Mmmm... Mid-Engine, Rear-Drive... I think I just came. yup, I did. Actually, I saw one of these at the drag strip in town and the guy that drove it didn't get on it very hard... still ran like a low 13.

well it says it does 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and out runs a porche 911 gt3. twin garret water cooled turbo v-6 at .7 bar. And it weighs 2400.
