project civic EK

This is another new project that i've decidied to embark on. This one is going to be a little more of a long term build than most of mine, cause there is going to be a lot of modifying and scratchbuilding involved with this one. I am modifying the stock bumper on the revell EK hatch to turn it into the c-west front. Also scratchbuilding the front canards and lower lip canards. full scratchbuilt turbo intercooler system, scratchbuilt rear c-west bumper, scratchbuilt exhaust, full rollcage, scratchbuilt turbo timer. I also need to find some bride bucket seats, takata belts, and a set of Volk ce-28s rims for it. anyway here are the referance pics that i am using for this one. going to be almost identical to this sick hatch. this was my inspiration...............................*Ryan*

not feeling the front kit, maybe make it so it hides more of the intercooler. good luck :)

Man that looks like a fake intercooler :disappoin . Really, they do make fake intercoolers for the ricers out there, the fake ones are really thin. If this is a real Greddy 3 row then must be a pretty big turbo under there.

that intercooler is far from fake that car is nasty fast and have you ever tryed to sqeeze a intercooler that big into a bumper sidewayz? :lol:

Thanks again guys. The rims on the car in the pictures are not the rims i'm gonna be using they are just on for a mockup. And no they didn't come with the kit, they actually come with the revell 93 civic coupe.......................*Ryan*

well guys i've had a change of heart on the color for this one, I'm gonna go with victory red on this one. Roof will still be black like the 1:1 car but body color will be victory red. I'm gonna have some more pics up for you guys to look at tommorow, the rear bumper is about 85% done and the front bumper is done with the exception of some finish sanding and then i need to make the canards and C/F them. Then i'm gonna take the engine from a crappy integra type R that i built a while back and start rebuilding that and start in on the turbo setup. anyway more pics soon........................*Ryan*

well guys the rear bumper on this one is almost done. Just need to do the slight half moon on the right side of the bottom lip for the exhaust exit and it will be done. front bumper needed a little putty so that is drying right now. anyway here are some pics of the rear bumper and the hood with the newly decided victory red as the color.......................*Ryan*

well it's been a while since i updated this one but anyway, I got almost all of the bodywork finished up and got some paint on the body. I havn't painted the black on the roof yet cause i don't have any gloss black right now. still need to fab up the canards for the front bumper and C/F them. I also started getting to work on the B18c out of my integra type R. In the process of scratchbuilding the cam gears right now. Then i gotta get to work on the turbo system. anyway here are a couple pics of the body in it's victory red...........................................*Rya n*

Looks great, nice front and back body kit, Did u build a custom suspension for it?
