Fuel Pump on 97 yukon

I had my fuel pump changed in April and it went out again last week I had the whole assembly and relay fuse changed this time and it ran good for 2 days and now it won't start?? Puzzled any suggestions??

I feel terrible for you. My fuel pump went out on my 99 Yukon at 113,000 miles. I replaced it and the gas tank pressure sensor myself. This was only one week ago. I suggest checking the voltage being supplied to the pump. Check it at the connector right to the pump on the tank. Check Chilton or Haynes or similar for what it should be. Also, I suggest using a major brand fuel pump. AC Delco is the OEM. I replace mine with a CarQuest. BTW, my whole repair was $250 in parts. My labor was free. Also, are you sure they gave you the right relay? And are you positive the fuel pump is not working?

I put it in the shop almost three weeks ago and they took it all apart and found out the fuel pump harness was burnt so I had that fixed and it seems to run great. Thanks for the tips aleast if something goes wrong again I will have a few more things to be aware of.
