Use 8.6L (9.10 QTS) of Diamond ATF SP II or equivalent.

I'd also recommend Diamond Star ATF. It worked nicely, while I had it. I'm running Amsoil now because I got a deal for a bunch of it. It has worked well. B&M Trick Shift is supposed to be good stuff, too.
All and all, Diamond Star is my favorite.
While you're doing the fluid you could change the filter.

today I ride car to my new mitsubishi dealer ( 1 hour drive ). Bought bunch of oil filter and 5 quart of auto trany fluid ( that what those mechanic that work at mitsubishi told me ) . But after when home I went to auto zone read the hayness book, it say I need 9.1 quart. I guess I had to go back tomorrow pick up 5 more quart.

Yup 9.1qts, like i said in the original post. I don't know why the mitsu tech would tell you otherwise, it really shows how well mitsu trains their tech's. Non of the auto models take 5qts, the 2.4L takes 6.4qts, and the 4g63(2.0L Turbo) takes 7.1qts so this guy was pulling numbers from his ass. The Diamond Star ATF is the factory fill for all 2g auto's so it should be your best bet.

Use the OEM tranny filter, if possible.
And it is kind of sad that Mitsu gave you bunk information. Capacities are in the first few pages of any shop manual; they could have checked if they weren't sure. From a business perspective, better to sell you more than less, too.
