68 Camaro LT1 Install

I'm putting an LT1 and T-56 into my 68 Camaro. To simplify the install, I plan on scrapping the injection setup, and using the GM Aluminum Intake Manifold #809-24502592 and Holly 4bbl with an HEI distributor. What do I do with the Opti spark hole in the timing chain cover? Also any sugestions on serpantine setups with a simpler water pump ( maybe electric)?

I'm also considering the Unisteer or Steeroid rack and pinion. Anyone have a driver report from a first gen camaro? All the adds talk about how great they are, but I've yet to hear anyone with one give a drivers perspective.

If I where, I would leave the fuel injection. As from what I can see, you looking for performace. These motors are very easy to modify, including the ecu.
