um... the belt is self tightening and as long as your intake manifold is bolted on, it wont matter. This isnt whats keeping your car from running. Try again sparky.

so you're saying that you cant take care of your stock engine, so you're goign to buy a more expensive, more complicated engine? fool.

theres a big vacumm leak around my intake manifold. so i have to take it alll apart again and i have to clean it alll up and i have to redo everything because i didnt do it right while the car was in my backyard.
my bad the timing is off. its not too tight i was generalising.
and i can take care of my motor just fine.
i hate doing stupid shit in my backyard exposed to the elements at all times with little or no experience and very few tools.
sum it up better for you guys?

Rome wasnt built in a day, as for me and mostly others you just have to roll with it and take this as a learning expirience, and hey it wouldnt help to pick up a set of craftsman mechanics 140 peice, i got mine for 95 bucks.

Backyard mechanics suck ass... red ants and mosquitos are the worst... even moreso when you feel like a dumbass when you can't change the oil in your wife's car because the dealership air wrenched the drain bolt on... wtf... needless to say, I wasn't happy about the situation... GL

Yeah I was just there also. I had had some work done on my car and the mech went ahead and changed the oil also. Well he put the drain bolt on so tight it was near impossible for me to get it off. My air tools wouldn't even break it.
