+10 HP chip

do these things actually work? the only reason I need it is to beat a car that I'll probablly be close to even with. It caught my eye, because I only need a small HP boost and I saw them on ebay cheap.

Can you give us the link to the ebay auction of it? If the chip is REAL cheap then it doesnt do anything, alot of stuff thats on there is fake if it's too cheap or too good to be true. Much like the electric fan turbo.

If it's the chip that plugs into your air temperature sensor, then no, it won't work. I bought one off eBay just to see if it would actually do anything, and it didn't do crap. But, it was only $5, so no bigee.

if you are going to be close maybe a bottle of "octane boost" before you race will give a very slight edge. if anything you can clean your intake valves and injectors.

dano man, c'mon. Have you not gotten any of the other posts we've left you asking to please not bring up old threads? This threads nearly 2 months old. Please don't post in a thread unless it's relatively new. Like no more than a month old, unless you feel that everyone absolutely must read what you have to say before the thread gets any older. Seriously, you keep this up, then don't be suprised if you end up getting banned by one of the mods.

The chip is bullshit.

If you want a chip it is best to buy one new from hyper chips, it may cost more but you will know that it is for your car and that it works.
