89 civic d16 swap

I have a 89 civic lx 4dr with a d15b and a 5 speed. Will a D16 from a civic si bolt right in place of the old engine. I want to get a d16 build it and boost to 15psi and smoke b16's

it should. look for old post .and 15psi is more thenanuff to walk for b16

I assume u mean a 92-95 Civic Si... If thats the case then yes, only thing u have to do for it bolt in, is the driver's side engine mount bracket off your engine has to come off and be put on the new engine... Its the peice that is bolted onto the block under the timing cover... And u have to use a cable tranny, which means the stock will work, but perferable a 88-89 Civic/CRX Si tranny... The 92-95 uses a hydro, so it wont bolt right in and would require alot more money than its worth to make it work...
