Cranking Problems

In the past month or two I've put a lot of work into my 94 geo metro. I've bought a new battery, replaced the radiator and its radiator fan, but I still have the same problem. After driving for 20 or so minutes after cutting my car off it. Sometimes it will crank and other times it willn't crank. What are some things I can do to prevent this from happening?
